What this site is

This site explains Entitlements as Code, a method for managing who has access to what with the habits of software teams: its principles, where it comes from, its framework and how it looks in practice. Anyone can apply the method, with their own tools or with a product.

Who we are

The site is published by MoreThanOps, which also builds a product on the method: Entitlements as Code by MoreThanOps, access to all your platforms managed as pull requests. We say so on every page, and we keep the explanation of the method separate from the description of the product. Early access to the product starts from the waitlist at eac.morethanops.pro.

About the author

Edu Borrego is the founder of MoreThanOps and writes every page and post on this site. He works in DevSecOps and platform engineering from Barcelona: delivery pipelines, policy and access controls that let engineering teams ship safely and keep a record of every change. His DevOpsDays Barcelona 2026 talk is on Entitlements as Code, managing access the way teams manage code.

How we write

  • Every page and post is written by Edu Borrego and checked by the people who build the product before it is published.
  • Pages about the method cite their sources: dates, names and definitions link to where they come from.
  • Pages about the product show it as it will be at early access. The demo company, ACME, and its people are fictional.
  • Figures are drawn for the page; they are not screenshots of a customer's systems.
